Sunday June 2nd the Veterans of the Vietnam War were honored by their government and local hometown. The many veterans chosen to go on this honor flight were taken to Washington, Dc to be commemorated for their service and were treated accordingly. They filled three big coach buses.. As they came back from DC they were escorted the entire way with motorcycles, and emergency personal so everyone knew they were coming through. Families and friends and even our friendly eagle Swoop lined The Porch ready to pay tribute for their sacrifice. Crying, laughter, and very long hugs were not in shortage the moment they stepped out of the buses. Being able to feel and see the emotion is something everyone should experience at least once in their life.
