Centralia, Pennsylvania: abandon coal mining town

Over the Early fall I took a trip to Centralia, Pennsylvania in hopes of finding the ruins of the old mining town. Over 50 years ago this mining town was struck with the bad luck of having a fire in the coal mines and it still burns to this day. The town was no where to be found but the stretch of graffiti highway which was also left behind and redirected was very easily found. I even went into the woods while searching for the town and found a sink hole. All in all it was disappointing but a great trip. This features photos from the graffiti highway.
